The Mox promo was good. And actually Sammy v Danielson was good...its just Sammy occasionally no sells or does something lazy that takes me out. But dont love Hayter needing nearly 10mins to beat a jobber...mostly because I cant see her possibly winning at Full Gear after it

Mox v MJF and The Acclaimed match look solid so far...rest of the PPV feels like its gonna underwhelm

 

Yeah i’m hyped for Mox and MJF.

 

AEW doenst usually do DQs and fuckery, but this feels like the PPV that needs it badly. Think that jolt of what MJF returning felt like at All Out, or like the Cole/Danielson returns at All Out 2021.

Like, Wardlow survives Hobbs and Joe only to have Miro destroy him after the match. Sting/Darby v Lethal/JJ has no finish because HOB lays them all out and Malakai mists Sting. Danielson goes insane full bore heel in that ROH match....Thunder bores me, but her coming back and laying Toni out post-match would make sense.

Just a feeling of a complete reset heading into the NY's shows and the next PPV, or that Thanksgiving Weds show is gonna be doing NXT numbers

We are gonna get the Elite vs Death Triangle and that alone will be worth the $50

 

I have never felt more sorry for anyone than JBL trying to get Baron Corbin over in 2022.

 

The in-ring stuff is still very VERY good, but I have to say, some of the storyline stuff lately is really souring me on AEW.

Saraya and Britt got a little too shoot-work for me, even with the idea of it being a squash the Trustbusters do nothing for me, Jay Lethal keeps being on Dynamite every week, and now we've got Jeff Jarrett cutting lengthy promos too.

Just feels like something is very very off right now.

I mean, I know I'm going to keep watching with matches like the opening 8 man tag, and the 2/3 falls main event last night, but....uggggh. Hire Jarrett to work backstage, sure! But I don't need him wrestling. At all.

 

i'll watch the ppv but entirely forgot it was even wednesday/dynamite day last night and sounds like i didn't really miss much. hopefully there's a good reset after the ppv/with the elite back because i'm not particularly engaged by most of what's going on right now.

 

They really need to get ROH it’s own show. A lot of that stuff is a drag or takes away from the feeling AEW had it’s first three years. I like Lethal, but his group is beyond stale. I assume/hope Jarrett is just in for the PPV match so hopefully he goes away. Hopefully they can reset for the new year. I’m still buying tickets for Rampage/BOTB, but I can’t lie, I’m only cautiously optimistic instead of being super excited like I would have been 6 months ago.

I wish Darby would have more singles feuds/matches on ppv instead of tag stuff with Sting

I don't understand why Toni got like 30 seconds of screen time last night or why Jamie didn't put away Skye Blue in 2 minutes tops

I have zero interest in anything to do with Rush and Dark Order

BUT, damn do I love everything Mox and MJF are doing. FTR are still the best tag team in the world, and I get so much joy out of seeing The Acclaimed every week (even if I wish the Ass Boys would get relegated to Dark for eternity)

 

I don't think there was much outside of a mention but I also coud not care less about Jungle Boy & Christian, I know there were injuries but that entire story has gone on for way too long
