Punk exposed himself on more than one level with his return. Would have been better not just for his own legacy, but the wrestling world on the whole, if he had stayed retired and let the "what if?" of it all continue to persist. AEW ultimately didn't need him; WWE certainly doesn't need him now.

The only question for WWE is if the Saudi princes like CM Punk. If the answer is yes, then he has exactly as much value for them as Goldberg or Taker or any of the other legends that solely work those shows. If they dont like him, then he has no value for WWE, especially at his price

 

Hard disagree on this, I think he'd be worth it if he'd agree to a part time 4-6 PPV/year schedule and keep him away from the belts (or in other words I think he definitely has value outside of Saudi fanboys)

 

they've been slowly cleaning house post vince that were issues i cannot imagine they will want to bring the headache that is punk in anytime soon
