I really don't get it. You've got Miro sitting around doing nothing and instead are out there dragging out boring story lines that were still boring when you were doing them a year ago.

I'm not that familiar with Andrade but I thought he had something going with Rush and then they decided to have him "recruit" Dark Order guys and not wrestle for two months. The Miro thing baffles me. They can't find anything to do with him other than these horrible Redeemer segments. I'd almost rather have them put the Atlantic belt on him instead of Pac because he has the Death Triangle to fall back.

 

Andrade and Miro absolutely should go back and work under Trips, they would absolutely benefit from it tbh.

 

I’m pretty sure they are both under contract for awhile and I don’t see Tony letting them go. It would be very stupid to set that precedent given that WWE would not do the same thing and guys would just try to flake out on contracts all over the place.

 

So I’m going to Extreme Rules and I’ve never been to a ppv before. What’s the difference between a ppv and say attending an actual televised show?

 

The biggest difference is you have less commercial breaks, so less time spent watching ads for odd stuff on the network, and obviously less promos. Other than that similar experience. Usually a hotter crowd and less casuals than a regular episode.

I mean at this point Hunter has been able to utilize his talent a little bit better than TK. This isn’t me hating on aew, I love aew btw

 

With his luck they will just feed him to Omos or Braun.

 

I know fans (myself included) have always wanted Miro, Andrade and even Black to an extent, in the title picture everywhere they’ve been. And we’ve seen now in two different companies that they were used as just mid card guys or not at all.

I just don’t think they’re looked at that way at all backstage where they’ve been. For one reason or another.

 

I think Rusev/Miro definitely would have gotten a title run in WWE.

I definitely can see how Black and Andrade aren't thought of that way, but at the same time, they were both NXT champions

 

It doesn't help that AEW has 10 belts and doesn't know what to do with 8 of them. You lose focus with the midcarders when there's nothing to fight for. That could be just my 2000's brain, though.

 

I was watching clips of nxt and I can’t believe how much Mandy Rose really improved. Her running knee is pretty damn good.

Miro has been pretty outspoken that he doesnt want to go back to WWE. And Im not sure I'd want to take the trade with his current role (doing movies, recovering from injury, getting paid) for say, what Drew McIntyre has (wrestling 3-4 times a week, serving as Roman fodder yet carrying the house shows)

Also, Aleister Black is probably dead in the water in WWE the second Bray Wyatt redebuts with a gimmick thats gonna be similar enough

 

Andrade the answer is easy...as good as he is in the ring, his inability to carry a feud without a manager has become REALLY evident. His entire NXT run is Zelina Vega whipping him into shape. And his current mouthpiece aint getting it done. He badly needs Smart Mark Sterling or Bivens to take interest in him, for example.

Aleister Black seems to be an injury thing. Right after he dropped the NXT belt he got written off due to injury...then never seemed to get a push on main roster. And then his whole AEW run his back's been fucked.

Miro though...legit no idea why he wasnt the interim champ after either Punk injury
