I’ve seen Britt on a few different things, she is A+ in them. Comes of like a big star and also a great person. Her and Adam Cole absolutely belong together those wholesome fucks. Its funny how great they are at playing assholes.

Brutal take. 1) It's about his health and wellness first and foremost - and feeling guilty for letting the fans down isn't going to help that. 2) He's so good in promos like that of maintaining character while projecting genuine honesty. That promo would have lost all its edge and energy had he inserted some awkward forced apology into the mix. There's plenty of ways he can show and communicate his appreciation to fans without making his recovery about receiving forgiveness from them.

 

Incredibly stupid take that has had me annoyed for an hour now arguing with someone about it.

 

He also didnt royally fuck up anything due to his drinking in his professional life. He was working his ass off and coping with alcohol, he wanted to give the fans a show no matter how inconvenient it was for his travel/working schedule. He owes no one in his professional life an apology.

I mean, he basically did...the closest thing the MOX character would come to an apology would be to bear his soul about his insufficiency. That "scar" promo absolutely did that.

Also, its a more useful promo for someone going through the same thing than stepping up and doing the "My Name is..." thing
