The Redditor inside of me wonders if they are in “let’s do anything to keep AJ happy mode”. Just over the last few weeks on smackdown he was losing to Jeff and Sami. He lost clean to a tag team wrestler that they don’t really have any plans for in Jey Uso. Riddle went over AJ when he came up. Now they bring him to Raw (maybe to get away from Heyman?) and he instantly goes over Seth and Jeff. Goes over Riddle. Gets a heater. He had also mentioned he was unhappy not getting to see his kids football games on fridays

 

AJ's relationship with the AEW guys make him a must keep for Vince. Wouldn't mind betting we'll see him back in the title scene pretty soon too.

 

Didn't AJ just sign like a five year deal?

 

Yep, he signed a new about a year ago, I believe. Id say its less about keeping him happy and more about moving him between brands to keep his star power viable.
