Fucking Netflix. How you going to renew a show only to cancel it because of COVID when you've MADE MONEY during COVID?!?! I'm very bummed out by this

what did they do?: furlough and fire a bunch of people during their most profitable year in company history all while a pandemic is going on and people need health insurance more than ever

why did they do it?: because they're assholes

 

Sucks about GLOW :(

 

I mean, I understand their theory though...adding in the stunt doubles, crowds, etc...how do you even hope to film a new season anytime soon?

Sucks they couldnt just delay production a year...

 

Netflix are only interested in murder docs and fucking big cat breeders or some shit. They cancel all the good shit because they can make half a dozen docs for the money it costs to do a decent drama.

15 straight matches based around some formulation of him against them.

Ali as the leader of Retribution is on par with being as terrible as this storyline has been. I like Ali and Dijak, but this is one of the dumbest storylines ever. Maybe don’t have Ali wrestling on main event every week if you’re going to reveal him as the leader of such a supposedly big storyline? It’s more like the Job Squad than Nexus at this point lol

 

I haven’t watched but it sounds like one of those things that could be cool if they took the time to make it cool. But you know they won’t

For the uninitiated:

 

Well, for one, they're the only other people Apollo has wrestled with since the week after WM.

 

Bonus points if they give Yang Linda's job and he's able to play a role in making it happen

 

Who are we supposed to root for in this retribution hurt business feud?

 

I mean, clearly the faction trying to divide the faces...which in a 3 hour episode of TV was both groups.

Ali has gotten terrible ideas over before (and, before his injury, Kofimania's booking was his), but if he pulls this off he might well be the greatest thing WWE has going for it

 

It’s pretty amazing that they would even consider him for something as big as this, even if everything else around it is terrible. Not because he’s not great but because you know, knowing Vince.

 

I'm just glad Ali is finally getting a big push
