So, I assumed I would watch something amazing, not knowing who those guys are...and, politely, there's a reason it didnt even main event the non-TV show it was a part of. Commentary half cares about the match for the first half...and its really better for both guys if you dont have to compare it against the canon of elite junior heavyweight type matches. Like, Ricochet/Osprey at least had the courtesy to be so wildly over the top to make me wonder where their limits were. Its 10x worse because AEW Dark exists in a world where the Young Bucks, Lucha Bros, etc exist...and the shit Ive seen them do is genuinely impressive.

Fun match for sure, but, man is "no-sell the clotheslines, kip up fine, sell like death the pump kicks 10 seconds later" the hallmark of way too many matches...

 

The same feeling of joy that I got when someone that I loved like Bryce got a gig with AEW is exactly the same as the amount of joy I get from this dipshit not getting signed.

 

Hope Flip rots in ROH/the indies forever. Dude isn’t even that good and got shoved down our throats mostly because he has a military background. What a moron.

 

Ben Carter has really impressed me the last few times I've seen him. Settling in to watch day 3 and 4 of the N-1 now.

ah man Marufuji/Suguira was excellent. One of my favourite tournament matches this year so far.

Carter has only been wrestling for 2 years or so now hasn't he? He's made amazing progress.

 

Animal died??? Nooooooo LOD was my favorite tag team as a kid. :(

 

I liked Flip for like a minute and then I got over him real quick, dude does nothing for me

Jay White is such a good dickhead.

I'm also fully convinced all wrestling shows should be 2/2.5 hours long. G1 and N1 have been so nice to watch this year.
