I truly don’t understand the hate for Drew
Dude is legit good. He was beloved by Vince even before he left for his indy stint. He was brought back with the assumption he’d make his way to the main event after proving himself working his ass off for that time away. I’ll be genuinely shocked if he doesn’t win

 

Drew is at least outside of the Brock, Roman, Seth title carousel. Here for it.

 

Drew is the kind of champion WWE needs right now.

all of NXT championship stuff was super boring. I'm not gonna be happy just because he isn't Orton/Seth/Roman. There were 25 other people in the rumble that weren't Orton/Seth/Roman either

 

Like, I get WWE have done a shit job showcasing him, but he is so damn good and I’m hoping pairing him with Brock and giving him time in the main event will show people how awesome he really is

And that's also why he's not gonna beat Brock.

 

The sad part is the opening is so easy to fix. Move John Morrison a little later, another jobber up to 5. Kofi at 6 is the first time someone lasts, Rey and Big E stay, and then drop Strowman in at #9. Morrison at 10, Nak at 11. Suddenly you have a credible crew and can have more mixed eliminations instead of Brock, clearing the ring back down to 3 and Strowman gets eliminated right before Drew's music hits. Its still a bunch of big names only lasting ~5 minutes, but not getting dumped out after attempting a 3-on-1.

Can even have the same spot; the shock of Brock getting eliminated that early is gonna get a big pop no matter what.

Kofi gets eliminated by Morrison; Strowman eliminates Nak, Rey gets dumped by Brock still...you can continue all the feuds they were already building without straight burying people.

His NXT stuff, he worked with Roode of all people to start. He had two great matches with Cole and Almas before tearing his bicep mid match.

he then was paired with Ziggler of all people, not given really any chance to do anything. His biggest match was at mania against Reigns, which, he had zero chance of coming out strong in that with it being Reigns’ big comeback.
The dude hasn’t had opportunities. This is his first real one.

Everyone's talking about Keith lee, no ones talking about how Braun went from almost beating brock to being eliminated by him in 2 minutes in just a year

 

Keith Lee is a talented wrestler. Braun is a lesser version of Kane and Big Show

 

These gushy Becky Seth moments are so damn cute

 

Their handling of Braun has been one of the biggest headscratchers for sure. I don't love the guy but they should have went all in with him multiple times
