Wait is night 1 really only three hours? Or is the network lying to me to get my hopes up?

 

Mania already has — and will always have — an overload of filler matches. I’d rather they have it split over two days so I don’t get Corbin/Elias on top of like an old timer crushing three main roster undercard guys and then cut a 20 min promo etc all in the same night.

 

Man, the whole show my friend and I were texting that they didn’t take advantage enough of the opportunity to just go completely against the grain and have unconventional matches and presentations. Finally they did it with that Boneyard Match! Bravo on that match. It was ridiculous, campy, and insanely over the top, but it was thoroughly entertaining! As others said in here, they better have done something like that for Bray/Cena.

 

Seems about right. Show felt like it moved along pretty quickly

 

The one thing i wanted was for AJ to put biker Taker in the coffin and close the lid. AJ thinks he’s won but then the lid opens and old skool Taker rises up. The Deadman.

 

Four+ matches in (on the tag team match now) and wrestling is just so sterile without the crowd.

Also if it comes out that Sami could still use his full moveset and isn't doing this limited stuff due to nagging injuries but instead just because WWE is dumb... that match was a shell of what it could've been compared to Sami vs Bryan in their primes.

 

This is what I thought was going to happen. As soon as taker was in there the first time. Coulda been cool.

Very excited for Ziggler’s first Mania singles match. DZ Crew finally getting our moment.

 

So that should be Undertakers last match

 

Btw biker taker sounded super bad ass. His lines with his accent... "where ya going son, theres nothing over there for you" (punch).

That was the coolest takers looked in probably 15years

Also one of those actual rare times when win or lose AJ STYLES is made (even more than he was). Epic.

 

Never thought I’d be disappointed at Shayna losing a match, but here I am.

Luckily the whole show picked up again after that. But it was looks baaaaaaaaaaad for a while there.

 

None of the main roster women's titles mean anything to me at this point. Its all stale. Shayna wasn't the shot this division needed.

Shotzi is

 

Shotzi would need Daniel Bryan circa WM30 fan push to get anywhere near a main roster title shot IMO. I know it’s still early, but if someone as dominant as Shayna can’t beat Becky, no one will.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Black vs Lashley could low-key be good

 

I am a huge Becky mark and clearly she must be selling insane amounts of mercg for them to keep this going so long

But I'm just not sure where you go from here? I've always said this past year we should have done something with Becky and steph as the Vince character but they're never doing that because Stephane McMahon refuses to put herself in that role (because she sucks)

Becky's reign has been solid and I know the wwe has seen that (her feud with asuka was real good, she pulled a great match out of natalya, sasha was solid, and Lacey she did her best).... but where do you go from here?

 

The Edge 24 doc is so good. Loved seeing him wrestle Beth and Dash during his training.

I think Lashley is such a charisma void that its gonna be far and away the worst match*. Almost every other match on the card has their major hitters...and both Otis and Dolph strike me as guys who are gonna be fine with an empty arena.

Then I read a comment on Twitter about them doing the same type of match with Taker & Sting

I think most people would prefer a quit while you're ahead approach but that has never been Vince's style so I could definitely see it. Especially with how well that went over last night.
