Kinda just looking for any news to distract from the shit show of a world right now. Found out that the official decision from my work (at 530 on a Friday...) is no WFH unless you feel sick or have a pre-existing condition (I'm also assuming "watching your kids" is under that). With the specific emphasis that there are still important customer deliveries going on (it was from my direct manager and basically meant anyone on my current project). My engineering job is well-paid, pretty good insurance, okay PTO, never usually has a problem without last second "I need to WFH today" moments, and generally only borders on abusive during "oh shit something unexpected made everything hectic"(which when it comes down to it isn't really problematic) and I'm fucking pissed about this. Just want my happy entertainment distractions and am ok with no mentions from WWE of the situation.

But it is kinda dumb considering they just had a crowd onsite on Wednesday
