spend like four years waiting for this company to do something with Sami. Then finally the PPV after I decide to stop watching because the entire product is just irredeemable crap they put a title on him?

Match quality was generally good. But if you dont really care about a wrestler, none of the matches did much of anything story wise.

Mens chamber match has some cool spots

 

I've been waiting for them to turn the past 3 matches. You know what though? All the marks probably stayed at home for such a shit card

 

match wasnt great, but also, becky has been champion for a year and they just built up her challenger massively. i have a hard time complaining about this

 

Shayna winning this was so insanely obvious from the start, why even bother doing the Chamber match with the Raw women? Why not do the SD women instead?

This. They knew better than doing a Roman chamber. Why not do the same here? A Smackdown chamber would actually have intrigue. But, they probably dont even have a challenger for Bayley right now

As someone who got tired of Alexa's schtick and endless title picture stuff, I would KILL to have her back featured instead.

None of these MMA people can story-tell for shit. Brock is terrible. Hager is terrible. Ronda was amongst the worst promos Ive ever heard. Shayna has a great character and none of the in-ring work to carry it. Baszlers character literally needs Asuka's ring work to pull it off.

 

Shayna on the mic makes me cringe hard

 

Naomi, Nikki, Carmella, Sonya, Mandy, and Lacey would have been a HUGE step up over what we just got. I remember Sonya/Mandy being great in the chamber last year

 

Let’s be real, they didn’t have follow up challengers anyway. This match wasn’t going to heat anyone up, nor was anyone other than Asuka good enough to be heated up in such a short amount of time. I agree with the other posts that this match probably shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but I also don’t mind it being a squash. There’s a clear cut best in the division challenger, and that’s important. Nobody (in kayfabe at least) can question why Shayna is cutting the line. She just killed everyone. I’m also not completely convinced Becky loses

 

Becky retaining just to lose to ronda on raw the next day?
