yep, feels like a missed opportunity to have the Heavy Machinery story build to something. Either Otis coming back from that spot fo the hot finish, or Roode/Ziggler winning the titles for Heavy Machinery ot beat them at WM

 

I don’t understand the booking here but there’s plenty of time for a random tag title change on smackdown, I guess

 

does that story really need the title though? seems like it's progressing pretty naturally

To actually belong on the WM card, yes. Otherwise its fodder for the ARMBAR. Its not like the title has anything resembling a story going either.

Morrison coming back to WWE with zero revamp to his gimmick at all was a massive mistake, imo. Didn't follow him during his time away, but did he essentially do the same schtick but with different surnames?

It didn’t help that Brock tossed morrison in 3 seconds lol he was getting reactions with a nice push before that. Also miz has been doing almost nothing but losing for two years, not surprising that they get silence like that, in philly nonetheless.

 

WWE are still king of putting on really cool matches that advance nothing.

Functionally, yeah. He was even more Hollywood and deluded in LU. Didnt see any of his Impact work, but I imagine it was similar as they just brought in half the LU roster.

Jesus, time flies in wrestling. I was thinking his Bryan and Shane feuds were closer in time to the whole Miztourage run, but looking back, he's basically been MIA doing his reality show for more than half of the past two years. The DBry feud was August of '18. In my head, it was last year.

 

Yea, it wasn’t literally two years but it’s close. I feel like they gave him back the ic title when they started miz and mrs and then he lost it at mania, likely will be the same with the tag titles. Very yikes for someone who used to be super over so far. The one month bray storyline was the only good thing to come out of it.
