I mean, like established wrestlers. He wasn’t just someone with potential, he was pretty big for awhile in tna. Think of it like there’s three tiers, wrestlers with potential, top dudes who wwe lets go and veterans who can help them dudes like bobby fish and jay lethal will hopefully get dudes over. Obviously they have a lot of shows but I feel like someone like scott would do better where he was guaranteed wrestling time rather than wrestle maybe once or twice a month and maybe neither of those are on their main shows. Maybe he’ll go back to doing mostly indies like cobb did and be wrestling okada in a few months, who knows.

I wouldnt read too much into the Lethal signing. He's there for situational stuff and he probably works a ton of indies...I'd bet he's more a Cabana/Janela type than a big deal. Fish is the same way.

I dont either. Problem Swerve has now is that AEW really doesnt need him...they have like 15 iterations of him and exactly zero of them are gonna be anything more than like, tag title contenders.

He's likely headed back to MLW to do the neu-LU stuff

I mean, this list of cuts kind of makes the most sense...John Morrison should never have been brought back, and after they cut Taya...Tegan Nox has -3 kneecaps right now. Ryker/Thorne, Im more surprised they werent cut several rounds ago.

But having nothing for Swerve/Top Dolla and cutting them after the call-up is very weird. Im really curious what their theory looks like in 6 months or so when they are hot-shotting green workers into WM matches because they arent indie guys and they look sort of like Brock Lesnar.

I’d sign Strickland and get the right for Ain’t Nobody because he’d get super over in 5 minutes just from his entrance. He was a star before going to NXT

I know it's hard to just keep giving out deal after deal, especially when you likely need to leave room for guys like KO/Sami/KOR, but if Bobby fucking Fish of all people is getting picked up, AEW would have to be out of their minds to pass on Swerve. And even with her injury history, I think Nixon falls into that category as well.

Maybe Russo was right all along and Nick Khan is destroying the company because Tony is his nephew

Swerve and Kingston were in a stable in Evolve. Sounds like a good time for a reunion

I think swerve would do good anywhere, someone mentioned maybe they make lio rush, martin and him a stable and I think that would be kind of cool as well. I just don’t want every good wrestler with potential in aew, inevitably some will get left behind.

Not sure if this is news or not, I don’t really watch streamers or know who is or isn’t allowed stream in WWE. But Gargano posted to Instagram asking for advice about a new pc and specifically mentioned streamers.

Feel like all the vets in NXT want to get the fuck out of there lol

Gargano and probably Candice seem ready to move on. KOR looks like he's not enjoying his time there at all anymore. Even Ciampa doesn't look super into being there. Dakota and Roddy may be the only other ones left that have been there since the Takeover era

Edit: I guess Kushida has been there for a pretty long time now too

I want an AEW trios title or some Freebird Title or something where a stable can just have rotating members defend the belts. So many groups in AEW. I saw some of Swerve's indie stuff but I was all in on hit row so I'd love to see that continue, mostly because I know swerve will get booked/signed no problem, but I feel for the other members of hit row who got fucked over and don't have the clout of Swerve.

I could be wrong but I feel like someone asked sean last night whether Owens and him were leaving and he said the chances are like 80%

Yeah I think I read that. His deal is up in 2 weeks and I could be reading into it far too much. But I found it interesting.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Owens leaving WWE is literally the only thing I want in wrestling right now.

Could you imagine if they give him millions to stay and then release him a year later?

At this point? Yes, yes I can.

I'm now convinced the only person who shouldn't be keeping friendly feelers out to the rest of the industry is Roman. Everyone else, yes, everyone else could be out at any time.

If you're not 6'4" and under 30, the clock is ticking for you.

And to be a broken record -- now would be a great time for a billionaire with more money than sense and a want to be a wrestling promoter to build a real #3.

NXT stars are still allowed to stream, but timing of this would lead to believe he's gone

was that from his stream last night? cause he said he’d be shocked if they *didnt* sign him. he said he thought swerve and tegan both end up in aew and the others land elsewhere.

There's also literally a brand name out there ready to be bought, with a tape library and history to build off of too.
