How Eddie hasn't gotten her at least a Dark match is crazy to me. I don't think she's in the states for much longer and Eddie on commentary for one of her matches would probably be the most adorable thing.

Japanese is a very phonetic language. If there is an extra vowel, you are usually pronouncing it. It is EE-SHE-EE. Otherwise it'd be Ishi. When you break down the characters, it looks like this.
石井 - Ishi i
いしい - I Shi I

The exception I can think of is the occasional "u" that they have in the middle of some names like Sasuke.
