I have to give it to them, Inner Circle and ATT have done a fantastic job at making me want ATT to win at Full Gear. Inner Circle were awful during that promo.

 

WWE has released 119 wrestlers since the start of 2020.

 

Seems like there could've been any number of reasons Nia got released, or a combination of several. Unvaccinated, incredibly dangerous in the ring (though that's been an issue for years), but perhaps most prominently - a visible detractor to Charlotte Flair who, rumor has it, had won the locker room over because of their collective growing frustration.

Just baffling that they dump Lee and Yim, though. They are in such desperate need of depth in both the men and women's division, and both are talented.

 

Jericho's schtick has worn incredibly thin. If it weren't for the crowd singing his theme, which ranges from fun to occasionally cringey, I just don't know what that character has anymore. Couple that with his increasingly ornery persona outside the ring, his connections to January 6th, etc., and it's just become so hard to root for the guy and people associated with him.

 

Thats fair, but, a huge chunk of that profit machine is massively overvalued TV deals and Saudi blood money...things that are easier for private company WWE to get away with and less easy for NBCUniversal or Disney to get away with.

 

Danhausen's gofundme that was posted this morning already hit their goal of $25k. Wrestling fans can be good!

 

Sounds like we're gonna start seeing NXT cuts on a rotating 6 month basis, and they might also be dealing out 60-Day 'tryout' contracts for new talents, too.

I definitely checked to see if any wrestlers publicly gave money and it was cool to see Cody Rhodes give $1K to it (should just pay for it all given his wealth and danhausen's lack of wealth, but whatever).

I’m not defending nia but, wwe blatantly lied to their employee because they needed a mental health break and I think that’s trash. The way she worded it made it sound like if she knew there would be consequence, she would have gotten vaxxed. It’s bullshit that she didn’t on her own but they should have made her aware of it, for the sake of others (even if it’s apparent she doesn’t care much about them). I’ll say this again, she should have probably been either released or sent to get more training for her wrestling, before all of that even happened. Since there’s no mandate, there’s probably other wrestlers who haven’t gotten it either.

 

Jeeeeeeez, the people who are making the next WWE2k game legit have to just watch their work be completely fucking wasted when they watch all these cuts happen. Didn't even think of that.
