Fuck WWE. Getting super into AEW has been one of my greatest joys these last two years and I’m so happy there’s a wrestling organization that actually cares about their employees

 

Seeing the last two days and how AEW has handled the Mox situation... then seeing this? Good god

Nia Jax is the only person I've ever seen in a list of mass releases and thought "good".

Having said that, I hope everyone can land on their feet somewhere. Fucking disgraceful to do this right before the holidays.

Edit: for clarity after seeing the post that went through RIGHT before mine, "everyone" landing on their feet includes Nia.

first off, how does doing something like that not make it so that everyone in the company is pissed at you

secondly... how fucked is it that WWE can be like "sure you signed a 3 year deal 3 years ago, but you were hurt for nine months so we're going to force you to stay another 9 months even if you want to leave sooner" but then can go "yeah sure we said we'd give you a job for two years but we lied bye"

 

There’s no chance in hell they don’t go to AEW. They’re two of the best wrestlers in the world in their respective divisions.

 

I get peoples reaction to Nia, she nearly paralyzed like 5 different women from being so reckless. It was dangerous to keep putting her in a position to make another massive botch that could cost someone their career yet she and the company kept doing it.

 

yeah Ember and Mia would both go a long way to filling out the AEW women's division.

 

Keith, Biff, Mia and Athena seem like the only no brainers to AEW to me. I could see the majority of the rest going to Impact/not signing with a major company.

 

she was bad at her job and had made a habit of seriously injuring people. she almost killed kairi sane. you don’t deserve to be employed when you jeopardize your coworkers’ livelihood, it’s literally the most important thing about the job.

Someone on r/SC suggested pairing Ember/Athena with Best Friends and now that’s all I want. Give me a team of her and Stat.

 

Not a fan of either, but Scarlett and Cross got a raw deal. The way they absolutely ruined two couples and then released them due to BS budget cuts is absolutely disgusting. They literally had no chance and all of the momentum they had before WWE is long gone.

I really hope Lee/Yim go to AEW. I assume Cross/Scarlett may go back to Impact.
