Breath of the Wild, finally. I started it when it first came out and for whatever reason just didn't stick it through the first world, but back into it now starting fresh

I think Ive played it through 3 times, game is so damn fun to explore. Really want BOTW2 to come out here in the next year

I will say this: At least early into the game, as someone who didn’t really play any other Zelda games growing up, I wish to start that the game was slightly more linear with some world building to give me a bigger sense of purpose. There are moments where I feel like all I’m doing is running away from those guardians or giant rock monsters that I have no way of defeating while running in circles and cooking some shit.

 

I didn't like Breath of the Wild.

I never want to play another game where my weapons deteriorate over time.

I’m not bothered by that aspect, but I wish it was a little bit more fluid when it came to changing your weapon. Maybe part of it is how awkward it feels when playing handheld, but I am constantly hitting the wrong arrow command to bring up the quick change menus, to the point where I’ve just fallen into pausing the game to change my weapon or armor (not that I feel like I’ve successfully used armor at this point of the game in any meaningful way—I’m assuming down the line I’ll use that for defense more. Or maybe I’ll just try to slash my way through the entire game like Kingdom Hearts?)

 

Do you have any kind of case for the undocked switch? The ones with the handgrips are an absolute game changer and are like 15 or 20 bucks. Makes it way more comfortable and able to have more control.
