Yeah, if its a set-up for the intuitive match that would come after that Punk v MJF, then I'm down...but if its just handing Punk another win, it seems an odd matchup choice.

 

It absolutely has to be setting up to that logical next one.

Yeah this show is gonna be bonkers. It’s nice to see some GCW talent on the show. Before the Pandemic GCW and Prestige were planned to do shows in Portland on back to back nights. I hope that’s something that happens in the future.

God I hate Goldberg

 

I'll shit talk goldberg every day of the week but the real culprit are the bookers letting Goldberg in that ring in that level of his development, imo.

In a weird way this is progress...to at least have the foresight to know that running multiple themed PPVs around "extreme" without any feuds worthy of it is silly.

But also, they probably would struggle to sell it out with them doing big things with SS/Rumble/etc

 

Its especially funny to hear the Undertaker talk about how he's done because he cant go...and yet between the two, Goldberg kinda looks worse. Which is also amazing considering how much less mat time Goldberg has on his body...Taker's gotta be easily 10x him in terms of matches

 

Helps that Taker was legitimately a great in-ring performer and Goldberg has three moves he did throughout his entire career
