imo cody, as a personality, is roughly three hundred billion times better when he's allowed to let loose on BTE or on sammy's vlog (and it's been... a really long time since that happened) so... it could be good

thinking about this bc i ended up watching most of rhodes to the top, the highlight of which was definitely sammy guevara's unrelated promo lol. but the scene where everyone's trying to make ricky starks feel better about his neck injury actually made me fall in love with everyone

i will not watch rhodes to the top again but mostly bc i've had my fill of cody and brandi talking about vaginas and night nurses

 

i think what i'm trying to say is "give ricky starks his own show"

Yeah, I think it helps that they arent trying to make Maryse some female icon like they clearly were with Brandi; but Miz and Mrs, the few times I watched it, was simply Miz doing weird/funny stuff. Rhodes to the Top was closer to a WWE faux kayfabe doc than a reality show.

And them pretending the USA promo was good doesnt help

 

What I’m not sure I understand is, who is the Rhodes show supposed to be appealing to?

Yeah, the boxing gloves thing was where I stopped watching. Such a desperate little move...and of course they cut to her hitting the bag for a bit while pregnant.

The only good parts I watched were the parts about other people on the roster.
