I didnt watch any of the show but I got to hear a fantastic rant by Alvarez about how much of a geek they made Demon Finn at the end.

Watched the finish on wreddit just now. I honestly think the goofy resuscitation bit was way worse than the turnbuckle “breaking”. At least they can reveal heyman rigged that at some point. Demon flopping around like a fish being electrocuted is one of the cringiest things I’ve seen this company do.

 

So against my better judgement I actually stayed up late and watched the entire PPV. Felt like most of the matches were actually solid. Love seeing Big E getting serious and pissed. Thought Roman and Finn have great chemistry and had a pretty good match until of course the ending. Surprisingly, the music coming on and Finn being revived really worked for me. Felt like a movie in a sense with that kind of being the score. But yeah the rope thing was just idiotic. I would have rather he take a bigger risk and crash and burn vs whatever happened.

Also wish I would have seen Roman put the mask on but him actually wearing it in the crowd was just *chef’s kiss*

 

The whole thing was geeky as fuck but you’d accept that for “The Moment” if they went through and gave Finn the win. But having the anime revival shit, sending Roman through a table and hitting him about 10 times with a chair just to lose from falling off the top rope is next level geeky. Basically all you need to do now to beat Finn as The Demon is knock him off the top rope according to WWE.

 

Finally getting the chance to watch Rampage. God, I really hate Hobbs’ gear. Especially his boots.

 

I think it was a Harlem Heat homage, prolly cause they were in New York.

Yeah, the kayfabe of it is terrible. He can take one of the most powerful finishers in the business through a barricade and magically revive...but during that rage streak, a minor tumble will ruin him.
