I'm a few pages back from the NXT discussion but yeah NXT is a lot better than some of you have been making it out to be, but jesus, relative to the era of Gargano albeing one of the best wrestlers in the world, NXT really felt lacking to me during Finn's reign

smackdown was the most consistent week to week show though for a lot of the pandemic IMO

Cody is never gonna let anyone fully go over, even in losses, he has to look really good

Obviously they have strengths but all that above can also be attributed to being the only legit North American promotion for the last two decades - it’ll be interesting to see how well they continue to do now they have legit competition

i mean, he got squashed by brodie and black the first time. though he did make both matches about him in the aftermath, milking them for sympathy.

 

I guess my biggest point was the fact that I didn’t even remember dudes like Cesaro Styles and Finn shows how terrible WWE has been lately haha

Hope this is a quicker match cause the women deserve a full 20 minutes

 

Stat v Britt was only 11mins (which surprises me, it felt like a 15-20min match); so as long as they clear the other commercial break after this match I think they'll be good with ~15mins

 

I do miss that style of FTR matches in NXT. The crawling under the ring type heel work
