People got worked up over being pitched directly to him when the Meltzer report wasnt even that it was taken to him. That it was a pitch, but never actually given to Cole and they basically didnt have any pitch to re-sign him really.

I'll also say that Im not even sure some of the WWE guys could do that match or even some of AEW's better guys. KO's great, Im not sure he really does "sell a body part all match". Fenix/Pentagon, same way...Fenix might be the most dynamic in the world, but he doesnt have the patience to work that match.

Obviously I know Seth can since we saw the painfully overworked version with HHH.

There's probably 15 guys in WWE capable of having a match that good...just for 10-12 of them its a different style match

Cole said himself the decision was really easy to make, thats prob why no pitch was actually made to him. He's an extremely professional person outside of the ring and probably kindly made it clear what his decision is and that he will finish out the takeover show then leave.

In retrospect, Adam Cole doing a Lio Rush and yelling "hit them with my favorite pose, Bearcat!" would 100% be something I would watch
