Also, that was a textbook way of not building a moment. Big E announces it on Twitter. They switch the main event specifically to set it up. They werent even clever enough to leak it to dirt sheets and let the rumors grow a la CM Punk or D-Bry

wwe's cynicism ruins everything, even what should've been an amazing moment. it's why a lot of people became disillusioned with the product, because it's a struggle to get caught up in what's happening when you're always conscious of why it's happening.

I don’t think gargano resigns. He always said NXT was what he was interested in and not the main roster. I know a lot of that was him putting over NXT since that is where he was working. With NXT changing what it is and he being the opposite of what they want, how much do they still value his talent?
