So they're stripping Joe of the title and rushing a Lashley/Randy title match for RAW.

We're officially in WWE panic booking season

 

IF Joe is legitimately hurt, he should consider hanging it up tbh. Dude hasn’t been healthy in a long time

 

I think they would have just had Joe lose against whoever wins the 4-way if they really wanted to get the title off of him.

This is likely the case, but, its odd they sat on the news for a couple of weeks

 

Not obvious that they would want any of those four to actually be the next champion; seems likely they were going to be a filler feud since joe just won the title? and having him drop it immediately to someone with little momentum behind them probably wouldn't end up coming off well for anybody. that said, i would think knight is most likely to get the belt, since he's one of the few guys left that can reliably cut a promo.

the rebrand and the decree behind it are dumb, but it makes complete sense that they'd want to start off fresh and not have joe be the face of the reboot. like i said, he's the antithesis of what they're looking to turn nxt into; he's too old for what they want, he doesn't look the way they want, and he doesn't wrestle the way they want.

 

Yeah, Im looking at the list, unless they are folding NXT UK and going in on Pete Dunne, all the other 3 are exactly the kind of thing they are rebooting against (older guys with indie pasts)

If the #1 contender match stays a #1 contender and they drop someone else in to that match, then its 100% just tanking Joe

 

to me, if you need to crown a new champion, it makes more sense to just do a tournament now. that way you can actually build momentum behind someone(in theory, you can push multiple people at the same time that way).

 

Damn, Pac/Andrade was awesome. Didn't love the finish, but enjoyed what happened after that.

Had to miss the show last night but this is fucking awesome.

 

I'll never forget Jake Atlas's first NXT promo where the entire thing was about how he's "different" and how great it is that WWE supports him in being "different" and how he can be openly "different".

WWE is trying way too hard to not get smashed by football. At this point I’d rather watch the grass grow than tune into RAW lol

Bought tickets to DEFY in Portland next month. Eddie Kingston and Brody King will be there which should be awesome. I really can’t wait until AEW starts going to the west coast more, which I’m hoping will happen towards the end of the year/early next year.
