How is Sable not in the HoF, especially with Brock’s standing in the company?

I thought Sable left on a sour note.

Depends how you define a $110 million lawsuit for sexual harassment.

I'd have originally guessed because her biggest moment in wrestling was appearing in Playboy, but Torrie Wilson was in a story line with her about that and she just went into the HoF.

I thought the lawsuit was after she left the first time. Then she came back after? I could be wrong since I was out of wrestling during her second run.

Looked it up and she did come back after the lawsuit. Funny how Brock ended up doing the same thing. What a power couple. Also didn’t know she appeared in New Japan with Brock. And Brock would have a son named Turk.

Jervis outed himself in these tweets. :worried:

Yeah, she came back and did the Torrie thing and left on good terms it seems. Just one of those things where they haven't put Molly Holly or The Bella Twins or a few other Divas from the mid-late 2000s in yet, so I cant imagine she's a priority

Well I guess they want to distance themselves from the sexual stuff. At least the other divas had more pg stuff and other accomplishments. You could say Sable was briefly the 2nd most over person in the company for her first run. But what are you gonna put in her video package besides the handprint bra and the grind?

Sable is 100% the reason I stopped watching the product in the early 2000's

2003: stopped watching because I hated lesnar

The last thing I remember watching was the Invasion ppv. Don’t even think I cared to follow that up. The first thing I remember watching when I came back was I think Shawn getting destroyed with a chair by the spirit squad and HHH making the save and reforming DX

I cant even pinpoint when I stopped; I dont remember the Spirit Squad at all, and yet I remember some stuff after their debut. Maybe my mind is thankfully blocking some of the truly terrible stuff out

I stopped watching completely after booker lost to trips in an overtly racist and disgusting storyline.

I stopped watching after the invasion angle. I think the attitude era had such a high peak that afterwards everything was so bland and underwhelming. A lot of people organically stopped watching at that same time I feel like.

Listened to Jericho's podcast with Nyla Rose. Such a great listen. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to know a little more about her story and/or a general education on the topic of transgender people. I was nervous about how Jericho would handle such a sensitive subject matter, but I think he handled things very well and Nyla seemed extremely comfortable and open to discuss basically everything. I haven't been the biggest fan of her work in AEW yet (minus her win against Riho which was awesome!) but I am definitely going to be a lot more invested in her going forward.

Exactly. I stopped watching exactly during this time and I don't really think it was for one particular reason though. I don't remember being like "this is a terrrible angle, i'm done" or "HES CHAMPION? Fuck this shit". IT was just organic for a few reasons. at least for me.

I became a teenager/high schooler where I just didn't have time for wrestling anymore. It wasn't cool. I was busy being a cool teenager ya know. The attitude era WAS such a peak time that i think it was just time for a break. My older brother moved away (my fellow friend), my other wrestling fans stopped watching (they were casuals).

I re-watched 2002-2012, there was a ton of perfectly solid stuff. A lot of shit, but lots of a good too.

His real identity has definitely been known; I'm not even really a fan and knew it/vaguely remember looking up unmasked matches of him.

Moxley's quote abou him and Renee from the AEW podcast is so good:

"We're a true power couple. Our household has got revenue streams coming from Fox, WWE, AEW, New Japan, all the other projects. We go wherever we want. She came to Tokyo Dome the other day. I'll walk right into Monday Night Raw tomorrow, backstage if I wanted to, nobody will say nothing. I'm just kidding; they'd probably kick me out. I would never do that. We've surpassed any bullcrap kind of thing. She's such a valuable asset there and her career is on the ups. She has big stuff coming and whatever her ultimate goals are, she'll go going after that and I'll be right behind her. She's been behind me throughout this whole thing. All that said, it'd be so much easier if she was just here. Just make my life so much easier if she would drop all her career aspirations and she followed me around the world while I did wrestling. She's a woman in power and in charge. I'm hoping she gets the Today Show, one of those gigs. Then I can truly check out and just get fat. That's the ultimate goal. If she gets the Kelly Ripa gig and she can be my sugar momma. I'll do one Indy show a year and look like Arn Anderson"
