It just comes across as very funny because AOP are a legit team and it makes sense to give them legitimacy as tag champs to build the stable too. But story line wise, having Buddy win because he joined Seth is a smarter choice in the short-term. And AOP being pissed about it could be a longer-term angle

 

Or maybe they’ll do a freebird rule and just eventually give the titles to AOP
