Man that was a bad episode of AEW outside of Mox/Jericho. The crowd was dead, and the womens division continues to be horrendously booked. First time I feel like AEW doesn’t look like much fun.

At least we got a Wrestle Kingdom mention from that ending segment haha.

maybe that’s it for me, I just watched like 4 days straight of actual wrestling matches that AEW feels silly this week.

Even NXT was a little too much jobber matches this week in comparison; but Im in the same boat where between WK14 and catching up on that Dec 18 NXT episode, my expectations were high. Usually the build to the Rumble seems so bad too, because its clear nobody is properly built up to a Kenny or Naito level for that big moment.

If he gets to do a half dozen NJPW shows with that US belt, maybe a one-off with Naito or Okada, and then gets an AEW championship run with Omega as his rival, yeah...feels like he's gonna win that one easily.

 

Loved the Moxley Inner Circle dupe.

Great shows tonight.

Raw and SDL are flat out pathetic by comparison.

 

Pairing Robbie E with Chelsea Greene feels odd.

 

Does that mean the Chelsea/Deonna tag team is done with?

Yeah I was very meh on AEW last night. I did like that final segment a lot tho.

 

Robbie E is probably gonna just manage both of them/maybe a bigger VXT stable. Could be nice if the NXT Women's division starts building up factions.


Nightmare Collective needs to stop. It wasn't so bad when it was just Brandi and Kong with cutting the locks of hair, but it's gotten to be way too much. It doesn't help that Riho has been a bad champion
