When JR was running down the card after the bucks match he sounded really flat and unenthusiastic it was really odd

 

that was a good match but if we got to that finishing stretch like 5 or 10 sooner it woulda been great

 

I just can't get behind Spears in AEW. Just feels off with him

Spears is better the more Tully is involved. The most invested I've been in Spears was the contract signing video between him and Cody where Tully was legit acting as his manager. Tully was fucking awesome in that role and it's a really good example of a manager just completely elevating a wrestler to look like a top guy

 

As is Spears.

He might somehow be worse in AEW than he was in WWE. How am I supposed to believe him mattering?

 

I don't know if Tully can make Spears interesting but it's a good idea.
