I can’t believe I somewhat see his side here. Just in the sense that nobody should have to carry someone else’s water or bags or coolers or whatever. A company the size of WWE should have people for that

I may be missing some stuff here, but he was letting friends and family backstage without the right credentials and he wasn't waiting backstage to give wrestlers water after their matches or carrying their bags on the European tour

 

Also complained about the pay (it came out today that he was offered 300k a year for five years and asked for double instead) and said he couldn’t afford a rental car and stuff for travel.


Mark Henry also laid into him quite a bit on a podcast.

 

Didn't know that bit about the pay, figured he would had traveled with Lashley or something and split those costs

 

His point about pay also included that he gets no merchandise money despite the lashley merch just being rush’s catch phrases. Also not being on signings with lashley, either.

 

The water stuff is bullshit. He shouldn’t have to carry stuff he’s colleague, not an intern (and treating interns in this manner is also terrible).

The family and friends stuff I guess I could understand but wrestling has a lot of dumb locker room stuff and if he’s expected to carry other peoples waters and stuff, he should be saying no to that stuff.

 

I don’t think at any time ever that should be expected. Henry pointed out that Austin and the Rock did it, he did it and it just seems dumb to me.

I can see buying the guys some food, picking up some donuts, shit you’d see like NBA rookies doing but not that.

Just because these guys are new to WWE doesn’t mean they’re new. Some of these indie guys have been doing it for a long long long time. I really don’t like that mentality of “nothing you did before here matters so you have to wipe our ass”

 

Yeah, I'm with him on just about everything except the friends and family stuff, locker room bullshit like that needs to go
