Why does everyone think the Kofi reign ended for this match? I thought it was super clear that FOX wanted the most well-known (to the general public) member of the roster to hold the belt for advertising.

 

Fine you're right. I don't think they took the belt off just for this match. But they did use the first episode of smackdown and the "big moment" for this match...which ended in Lesnar tapping him out fairly easily.

I don't understand why someone couldn't tell fox A) Lesnar doesn't need to hold a fake title to be a draw b) Velazques vs Lesnar DEFINITELY doesn't need a title to be a draw c) You won't piss off a small faction of wrestling fans if you dont turn Kofi from champion to irrelevant in one week

I don't know. This whole month has really turned me off from WWE.

Red lighting again. Why didn't the match with Balor get that treatment? lol

 

It's like the opposite of the Attitude Era and Kane. Had the red light for his first match, and realized it was awful and ditched it.

 

i dont mind the red lighting thing. All this feud with rollins is showing is what a lot of people said before it started. To soon to push this fiend character to the top. Let him beat a bunch of people in a row first... have the red lighting as a gimmick..and then set up a big time match (hell maybe even wrestlemania) where he wins.

exactly what i was going to post. They had to do SOMETHING....ANYTHING..... the product has been attrociously boring in the past few months. Rollins, who I like, was falling apart.

AND they had to finally deliver on these bullshit house show events where nothing happens. Finally something happened.

Match was still shit though.

 

it was a cool ending. so thats a plus. also finally giving bray the belt was somehow unexpected for this company (yikes) but also good.

doing this at the saudi show instead of hiac is terrible though

 

That made up for HIAC. Make Fiend indestructible for now. The way it should have been.

 

Damn. I wasn’t watching because I was positive they’d fuck it up somehow again and Rollins would retain.

Glad though because I’m a massive Bray mark. Not enough to watch the blood money show, though.

 

So both world titles on SD? They gonna spray paint the universal blue? Or keep Bray on RAW?
