Its gotta be amazing being the biggest athlete in your country, but this guy has zero main roster potential.

 

ahhhhh that's.... that's a shame. Just watched dynamite. Good show. Absolutely LOVED the stuff they did with Cody and Tony. Maybe all around not the most exciting show but not terrible. You take THIS type of "okay" over the crap WWE's been giving us for years.

But their were some faults. I'm still just not digging the women's division. Ambrose's promo was long-winded and very similar to what he was doing in WWE. He's doing the talk, stop thing walk aroudn thing all the time. SAY SOMETHING CRAZY..pause, wait for crowd to cheer. Repeat.

And to quote Tony Schiavone "after all that, it ends with a small package"...yeah, I dont think that's how you want to end the tournament. SCU should win but I think that was too cute for their own good. If they were legit afraid of the time going long, start the match 10minutes earlier. IF there's a little more time to go, have a back up plan..or interview with SCU or something.

That seemed like the first misstep from AEW. Not a great ending to what was a very fun tournament.

 

i think finn killed the fiend for me when he dropped the line that he laid down for a guy cause he was wearing a new mask.

i've wanted a women's war games match since the gimmick returned two years ago, but the way these women are all jockeying for a women's title shot, the story is more suited for an elimination chamber with baszler, io, rhea, candace, bianca, and possibly mia yim. i don't get how bianca is on the heel team. if i could, i'd have the 4 horsewomen with a returning ronda against the title contenders: ripley, larae, belair, and io.

and now 2 war games matches... we really goin full main roster and whore out stipulation matches for the sake of a ppv, eh? with the right story, the women being the only war games match would have been quite enough.

 

NXT is part of Survivor Series this year.
