Also, having the IIconics lose back to back nights only to trot out jobbers this week for Sane/Asuka is hilarious. The Royce "I over-hydrated" promo would have been an all-timer if it came after a jobber loss that had her scared.

i read the smackdown results. for the first time in a long long time, i have no interest in watching smackdown. I read the results and nothing stood out to me as must watch.

That was hilarious. People seemed to be bending over backwards for an excuse to why a near the top of the card would leave WWE.

and wow at that Raw tv rating. For years i'd make fun of people for pointing out the slightest of drops, but the key is the year to year. This time last year raw was doing 3.0's, and now it's at 2.1. thats a significant drop...and it's the POST mania run. It's supposed to be semi hot still. WE just did the brand split, which is usually an angle people like and wanna see the fallout from it.

People have collectively decided, finally..the product just sucks

i know yall hate Dean but i am thrilled to see what he can do with some creative/artistic freedom. I'm not gonna act like I've seen a Jon Moxley match in my life but i know that guy has some incredible promos in him

also thinking he was actually retired is/was not crazy or dumb, don't try to be all galaxy brain. he almost died recovering from what should have been a minor injury. he's said before that he likes to work real safe/not stiff, so he's clearly a guy that doesn't want to feel like shit from his 40s til death. he's a seemingly non materialistic guy who's sitting on a pile of money. there's a lot of valid reasons to have thought we wouldn't be hearing from him for a long time.

The retirement stuff only came about after reports of him being unhappy with his booking and character, even Seth mentioned that. If I'm correct, that was all driven by fan speculation, there was no real reason to think he was retiring other than the fact he was leaving WWE.

right I'm just saying, reports or not, there's some real reason to wonder if he was done for a while that one could make just off of recent history. the sheets not reporting it doesn't mean anything with the sad state of all of that stuff right now.

I don't know, I don't see what that reason is apart from him being a top guy leaving WWE. A lot of it seemed conjecture and people acting like they knew him rather than listening to what he and other guys that do know him have said in the past.

100% this. The show I went to was basically SILENT the entire time. It was a US audience that knew to stay quiet. Based on this guys other tweets, I don't think he is all there in the head.

Yeah, I feel the same and I hated Dean but it could very well be because of what WWE made him to be.

The past couple Tokyo Dome shows I would CRINGE so hard when you could hear/see the packs of American fans in the venue. Idiots.

Hate the dean character. Find him boring as a wrestler. But I’m happy as fuck for him to continue wrestling and performing. I’ll be interested to see him wrestle as I’ve never seen his pre-WWE work.

It'll be interesting to see if he wants to do death matches or stick to what he's been doing. Definitely going to be working with GCW.
