There is a certain irony of this match basically being the final nail in the Braun coffin, ruining the chances of what could've been WWEs huge monster, but instead of worrying about that they've instead just got us hyped that this new monster will actually deliver.

But The Fiend is just so damn compelling. Moreso than monster Braun ever was. So I guess it works? Either we actually get the Fiend's reign of terror we all want, or WWE fucks it up and we all give up and just watch AEW. Either way it'll all work out in the end.

I’m glad the Fiend debuted before the Joker movie.

They made Braun look strong there but for what? They’re never gonna pull the trigger.

I know this is a weird line to draw...but if Bray doesn’t win at HIAC I’m officially done.

He can’t lose his first title defense - the mistake is WWE already painting themselves in a corner by throwing him into a title match

I just wish they didn’t already put him in the title picture. Let him go on a reign of terror for a while. I agree with that if he doesn’t win it ruins the character. But at the same time I don’t want to see that character with the title right now.

Yup. It's a terrible idea. I would hope he just brutalises Rollins and leaves. Cliche, but the character does not need a title or a loss.
