Glad there is a pre-show or I'd have no idea what the stories were going into tonight.

 

It wasn’t meant to be an arm drag, Dunne was doing the finger spot to him. I don’t think it was botched, just maybe not super well thought out on how it would look.

 

I mean I only watched it once but it looked like Dunne and Roddy went down and he was still on the top rope and like, oh fuck, and jumped off himself and bumped.

 

Does summer slam start in 30 minutes?

Just rewatched it, yeah him holding onto just the finger is what made it look pretty dumb, Velveteen just had to flip over himself and it was a tiny bit delayed. At least an arm drag would of been able to get him thrown over

Yeah, I enjoyed the triple threat more than most people it seems, but that spot was pretty bad.

 

The first 5 minutes of that match were odd. Like I get Ford being bigger and his moves having more impact, but they just had this really messy series of sequences with it. It was a definite step down from the usual tag match openers (thinking Lorcan/Burch, War Raiders, or Mustache Mountain v TUE for example). That said, I think they need to build up other tag teams to boost Street Profits. TUE have been in basically every tag match for the last 2 years.

Rewatching it, Io/Candice was definitely the strongest match. Wish it had been labeled a #1 contenders match so we'd know where Io was headed.

 

Why did this preshow start at 5?
