I find it somewhat interesting that they spent all this time talking about how you need a certain number of points to make sure you get into the G1 next year... and then 13/20 of the competitors got and finish at 8 points

Definitely wouldn't complain if most of them come back though. Fale, Cobb and Taichi were the only ones who performances I didn't routinely enjoy.

Finally watched Io/Candice. That might be one of the best women's matches I've seen all year.

A great Takeover, but not as good as I could have been. Io/Candice and the triple threat were the matches of the night and glad Cole retained. But there wasn’t nothing that made it stand out. Doesn’t push any stories forward either, which will always make it seem worse than others.

 

So...they announced a title match for RAW, and are trotting out an IIconics defense on the pre-show as well. They clearly have a strong plan for this...

Yo that spot where Velveteen was supposed to get like tossed off the top rope from the other two dudes was hilarious. They went down and he didn't so he just jumped flipped and bumped anyways lmao. I forgot about it until Alvarez brought it up. It was like supposed to be a top rope arm drag or something

 

Part of me is too but the other part of me is thinking he could get a Daniel Bryan type push. Hopefully the latter

triple threat highs were much higher than the tag match highs, but definitely sloppier

 

Dream is one of the best right now and I love him but he did not gel with Dunne and Strong much at all imo

 

This exactly. Kept wishing we were just getting Dunne vs Strong, and I fucking adore Dream

 

Tag match was fine, but the Street Profits as a team are fucking forgettable. The sooner Ford goes solo, the better.
