If they did a match like the Sami/Braun 10-minute challenge...they could actually get it right. Not literally having a time limit, but give them 10ish minutes where Cedric keeps persevering. Drew still ultimately wins, but Cedric could get over in an Ali-type way (this was his CWC recipe too).

Then he's the perfect guy to challenge for the US title (or if Ricochet wins, contends with a heel for the #1 contendership)

 

Wouldn't surprise me if they do a two hour pre-show for summerslam in which case Drew vs Cedric could certainly take a spot on that.

Last night’s Raw was “the heaviest Paul Heyman influenced show to date"

Id say the last hour for sure had that feeling. Half of what hooked me into ECW was that it felt like, by the end of the episode, everyone was involved in one big war for power between heels and faces.

And Seth pretty much took the Tommy Dreamer pre-PPV beating

 

Street Profits on Raw is mind boggling. They are literally just an exposition dump.

 

You'd rather have Michael Cole recap "what happened before the break!" 5+ times a show?

Both shows should be looking for ways to move exposition that doesnt involve 5+ minute in-ring promos. As many cell-phone video promos, as many backstage interactions, and as many chaos segments like the end of RAW they can add, the better.

 

Wtf Big Show is getting his own show on Netflix?

Also, I don’t mind what they are doing with the street profits. Getting that exposure without having to job out.

Pretty decent raw. Seems like they're moving on from Truth/Drake, which is fine by me, but also a shame because i dont feel like Drake got the payoff he deserved. Now of course things can change this week/next week when Renee or whatever pins Maria anyway...but i think making Drake look like a terrible wrestler was an odd choice. I'm very happy with them starting raw with 24/7 though.. different start, different wrestlers to focus on, start off with a new angle. Good call...followed by gauntlet match which everyone likes.

The rest of the show was decent too. I mean, this is probably the best they can do with Becky/Nattie and it's not the worst thing in the world (and that's a compliment coming from me). I think it's too late for Anderson/Gallows, but am okay with giving them a chance. And that's about it right? Obviously didn't care about the reigns/joe thing AT ALL...and Rollins/Lesnar i'm not into it.

 

It’s sadly hilarious that the WWE stopped giving a shit about the women’s division as soon as Rousey left
