My new favorite thing about wrestling is how when someone in WWE loses a wrestling match it definitely means there’s something fucky going on with their contract and they’re definitely headed to AEW

 

DZ AEW bound cause he lost last night, did you hear the news

 

Cobb/Moxley match was a lot shorter than I expected it to be

 

i care about Balor and Nakamura both so little that the IC title may as well not exist rn

 

I thought your favorite thing about wrestling was dolph ziggler

 

I really like them elevating the aj ricochet feud, if this keeps going it could be very good for prince puma.

 

Interesting, could be smoke, but Meltzer says that the leading direction for Marty Scurll is WWE, with AEW and ROH not too far behind

 

Why would he still possibly want to stay with ROH? lol

 

Maybe he's using the three as leverage and will go to whoever has the best offer.

 

I'm guessing he'd be mainly on NXT UK with some appearances on NXT like what they do with Dunne

 

Maybe he wants to live with his girlfriend in Florida

 

I think he’s def going to AEW and honestly, if you’re AEW you leak he’s considering and leaning towards WWE so it looks like you stole him from under their nose.

 

Just more thinking that the obvious outcomes are:

Brock holding the title hostage, again
Roman being built to take down Brock, again
Strowman looking monstrous to lose to Brock, again
KO v Shane, again

Bayley looking strong and The Club winning feel like the only two fresh things going forward. Maybe them revitalizing the Smackdown tag scene too.

edit: And I guess most importantly it probably means less Corbin, so thats a win

 

I'm happy heavy machinery stopped doing the bushwacker thing and the small silly things....and now they're getting over.

Ugh I wish there was only 1 tag title right now. The tag scene would be phenomenal.

 

I almost feel like they’re starting to go away from the brand split with the wild card rule and all, so maybe by the time SD moves to Fox they’ll do away with it completely and then start getting rid of some of the duplicate titles.

 

I think he'd expect more than just NXT UK. He'd go straight to upper midcard in AEW. If there's any truth to that rumour, then WWE would have to bring him in like a star and give him a shit tonne of cash.

 

I mean duh

 

So quick review.

Every match pretty much 7/10-8/10. Nothing was super wow and nothing sucked. Hate Lesnar as champ but liked the way it went down.

Also in a perfect world I have ricochet working with nak... and retaining. And finn working with aj and losing.

Would've liked to see iconics vs kabuki warriors too

Overall not as good as stomping grounds but still a 7/10 show

 

Y’all are going to be so mad when Corbin ends Brock’s reign of terror

 

There is 0% chance Marty doesn’t go to AEW.

 

And now that Ive read this, its so obvious over what they did. Its not like AJ/Ricochet or Nak/Finn were built more than like 2-3 weeks out either. And people would have gone NUTS for AJ/Finn again

Absolutely. I'd also like to keep ricochet as a strong babyface champ for a while. Doesn't need a feud like this yet...let him face nak win. Then rusev..win. and thennn we could do something with aj

And then yeah aj and finn in a "club" feud would've been great....and a better way to turn aj heel eventually

But alas...wwe laziness always supersedes everything

 

All the progress made in regards to the main championships and we are right back to square one with the UT.

What was even the point? Now we will have an inactive champion again...

And Ziggler, a guy who just challenged for a title, loses in a matter a seconds on the very next PPV? Wow.... That is just plain sad.

The Kofi Joe match was good, but Kofi had no business winning... Lets be honest. Joe manhandled him.

And still no Wyatt, how can this make sense?

bahh
