i wish i could cancel my Network sub my buddy was paying for it the last couple of years and around Mania asked if i wouldnt mind taking a turn paying for it for a while so i would be a real dick to cut the cord now lol

Just found out there's a wrestler in Chikara with the name "Still Life with Apricots and Pears". That might be my favorite name in wrestling right now.

 

If you don't use it, why should you pay?

because i was happy to use it for the like two consecutive years he paid for it lol. i owe him the courtesy. after learning that NXT is on Hulu though itd be an easy cut

 

Are takeovers on Hulu too?

 

Still Life is one of the best things Chikara has going on right now.

Interesting...NXT and PPVs are the only reason I have the network and I could skip 99% of PPVS

I've just used my buddy's account for years. The only wrestling things I've purchased (minus live shows) are GCW events.

 

I had to change my card and my network account lapsed. No real intention to sign up again.

 

Look at this ridiculous stipulation

 

My girlfriend and I still really enjoy watching PPV’s together and talking shit about how bad they are, so I still haven’t cancelled. But I do only use it for PPV and takeovers.

 

I cancelled when I found out takeovers are on Hulu. Might find a way to watch those live, but honestly, very happy to get out if the habit of needing to watch it all as it happens

 

it's still just too cheap to cancel. I watch old stuff all the time (trying to watch all of WCW now)...and yeah $10 for ppvs and takeovers, ehhhh it's fine. Plus, the product isn't great now, but it's been worse.

 

Winner gets a match, to determine who gets a bye at the tournament. I must say, that stipulation doesn't really roll off the tongue haha. How about, winner of this match gets a first round bye? Nice and simple.

 

I still really enjoy NXT. But the last two rounds of call ups soured me on that. Getting invested in people for them to potentially just drop the belts and go main roster, then get ignored? Makes me sad. If my card didn't change, I wouldn't have cancelled. But I've no motivation to sign back up.

 

Yeah, I've struggled to get into it since Ricochet and Black got called up. I normally just watch 2 or 3 in a row or do a massive catch up prior to a Takeover.

 

there's truly no reason to get invested in any of the NXT characters because the main roster will ruin them.
