pre show = D. Non title. Why exist. Why have Bryan get pinned? What?
Womens MitB = B-. It was fine. Some decent spots, a little messy. The Carmella spot was very weird. I don't think it was a planned spot, because if it was, i don't get the point. Planting the seeds for a carmella vs absolution non-title feud? My initial reaction was Carmella acted pretty unprofessional about it. It didn't look like that careless of a spot and mandy was doing what you're supposed to be doing. Odd stuff. I have no idea what they're doing with Nikki Cross right ow. Either way, i've come to realize I'm just not a fan of hers at all. Anyway, Bailey winning was good choice.
US Title = C-. Cursed feud. I'm actually happy this was short because I did not need a 10minute match here.
Shane vs Miz = C-. Generous grade. It was long and since December i have just not gave a shit about this at all. This doesn't need to be continuing. And what the hell was that rope break moment? Cole yelling about it was confusing. Don't mind Shane winning but god damn this has been going on too long.
CW Match = didn't watch. I don't watch 205 live and from what i've seen from these two.... not interested. Agreed on whoever mentioned that it's funny that now that buddy is not champ, they have a match on the actual show.
Becky vs Lacey = B. I completely disagree with a few on you about Lacey. I think she's great. Love the character, she's really good on the mic, and after tonight, thought she was more than average in the ring. This was a great first feud for Becky. Quick tap out once disarmher was put on. That's totally fine. Becky comes out with the fairly easy win, i think Lacey has a strong debut, and we continue..
Becky vs Charlotte = B. I think this entire sequence was executed well. It's something Charlotte would do. Match was fine because these two work amazing together, but it took outside interference from Lacey in order to screw Becky from one of the titles. I 100% didn't want becky to be on both shows every single week, carrying both belts. It over-exposes her. They were going to get diminishing returns everytime she appeared. Now it's not the exact way I would've done it but...it's fine.
Bayley Cash in = B+. I loved the Lacey and Charlotte beat down afterwards. It's weird how that seemed unique for the womens division. Then Bayley comes out with the save and then the shocking cash in on Charlote after all that. I think cashing in on Becky would've been even more amazing, but, alas, fine, lets give babyface Bailey ONE MORE chance. Also, by the way, I think Bayley cut her best promo of her main roster career tonight after winning the briefcase. Short, concise, confident. Still think there's too many belts though. All in all, a good 30minutes from the women.
Roman vs Elias = F. Why. If this wasn't roman, THIS IS A PRE SHOW MATCH. And it obviously isn't a match at all. Not even good on a 'break segment' level.
Seth vs. AJ = A-. Best match AJ's had in a bit. No complaints here. Great match, right ending. Can we do AJ bullet club thing pleasssee?
Kofi vs KO = B-. Seemed a little lacking at times. I think Kofi needs his own theme song and new entrance. It looks odd him coming out to New Day and pancakes by himself...as champ. Just looks odd. Anyway, decent enough math, decent result. Now lets do something MORE interesting please with Kofi (Love KO but it died after the 'turn').
Mens MITB = C. It's not an F because the match was great. Everyone put on a show. But dear god, fucking Lesnar. Look, I actually like Lesnar. And i get the idea of having this huge massive monster heel... it's valuable. But stop...please...stop. Let him do something else. Anything. I agree with whoever said that should'e been Bray Wyatt's spot. It would've been PERFECT. Vince is panicking big time and thinks Lesnar can save the day (although the ratings plummetted under HIS watch. Lesnar/Reigns are the faces of the company).

Overall = B-. The women were all great. Seth/AJ was four star level of in-ring, Kofi/KO was solid, and the actual mens MITB match was good until end.

 

oh and NxT asbury was fun! Man the Nxt roster is depleted though. My non-wrestling fans thought the standouts were Io Shirai, Shayna Bazley and Kacey, and Riddle and Dream. I agree. They didn't really get Adam Cole.

 

I really think Adam Cole needs the fanbase from NXT to follow him or he is NOT getting over. The only thing carrying him are the marks.

 

He's got the "Adam Cole Bay Bay", which is ridiculously over with marks. It was just hard to describe Adam Cole to my friends. Like, what makes him special. I didn't really know what to say. He's a good wrestler and has the potential/vibe of a Chris Jericho? I'll tell you this much, they were not impressed with Strong and O'Reilly, and THAT i agree with. Those guys have no shot on the main roster at all.

 

I disagree with that. I think Cole will be able to get over anywhere. The thing that would hold him back is booking.

 

I think KOR should be the next big thing. No one gives better face than that fucking guy.

 

KOR and Roddy are two of the best all around performers in the world. Which sadly doesn’t mean shit with the casual WWE audience.

 

This man is a national treasure.

 

here for the KOR love. i got into PWG around the time he climbed to the top there and ive never loved wrestling more than that product. it took me forever to get into Adam Cole but i def get him now. still prefer KOR and heel Roddy over him any day though but they're all great
