It was a cool moment for sure but made absolutely zero sense. They’re all faces. Braun doing the respectable thing saying he’s not gonna cash in without warning. Is Seth going to hold the IC title hostage now like dean did when he was US champ?

 

Dean and Seth gonna beat the b team so dean can have a belt and shield will just go full heel ransacking through raw until....

As long as he's defending it regularly on PPV and appearing weekly on Raw I don't mind if Braun has a lengthy title reign. Problem with Bork wasn't the length of the reign it was that he was never there.

 

This is the kind of stuff that makes me mad about this. If the outcome is just the SHIELD dominating RAW into Survivor Series (have them become tag champs too), then Im interested. Let the entire RAW roster get mad enough at them to team up and beat them.

But we're not gonna get faction warfare or something cool and edgy. We're gonna get "avoid Roman getting boo'd"

I wonder if the arm injury happened in that awkward spot where it looked like Rowan was gonna slam Woods on the outside but then sort of awkwardly just put him down and kind of fell backwards?

 

Would be cool to see them hoard the belts. But that’s a heel faction thing to do. And we know they aren’t turning Roman heel

 

And I was gonna say it would’ve been cool if when the shield surrounded Braun the lights went out and came back on and they were all surrounded by the Wyatt family.

 

That was a great episode of Raw

 

I do agree that it’s weird booking

 

find a way to get Dean the US title and then have Braun win all three titles in a 3-1 handicap match

 

Why is it weird?

 

Because you don't want to see either of them lose. Because Dean probably deserves better than this. Because Seth already has a title that is gonna get lost in the shuffle of this world title feud, or quietly dumped off. It's literally exactly what happened to Ambrose. Lots of reasons.

 

I mean that's alot of assuming. But you're probably right.

 

There’s good and bad. The bad is mainly what M.Lee posted but I like that the writers are giving these characters shades of gray and acting with normal human emotions. I don’t think any of these guys were in the “wrong” or being heel - Braun is trying to win the belt without a sneak attack and Roman’s brothers are helping him out

I like it overall - it’ll be interesting to see how it goes over the next few weeks

 

Also it’s not inherently a heel tactic if the shield hold all the belts - just as long as they are fighting champions it’ll be fine

 

I just think it's disappointing that a red hot Ambrose gets Seth backup duty and then a "please don't boo Roman" spot. Like give the guy a solo high profile storyline, he's one of your biggest stars.

The Seth stuff is just me looking at what they did before and reapplying it.

 

Summerslam quick review; really liked it. A- GRADE overall.

Had front row raw tickets tonight.... F GRADE overall. How or why anyone pays to go to raw is beyond me.

 

Well, with Rowan hurt, they can do it 3 on 3 with Harper and Bray joining Braun instead.

 

All I know is the Shield is gonna pay when Nicholas comes out next week with his buddy Steve from gym class to have Brauns back next week

 

Ah, explains why he didn't come out with Harper tonight at the house show. Only Harper came out to fight Karl Anderson 1v1

 

The only good match at SS was Seth v Ziggler which was really outstanding. Miz and DB was a let down imo.

As for Raw and this Shield stuff... I guess it’s okay. It is desperate though as others said.

 

Glad I went to bed early. No thank you with the Shield stuff again.

 

Vince wants that Shield pop before one of them gets injured again.

 

Did papa Haitch have a word with Vince about his old NXT talent last night or something? Revival won both of their singles matches, AOP dominated, Riott Squad picked up a win, Apollo and Dana look to be finally moving away from the god awful Titus worldwide, Finn got a title shot.
