I trust Gedo, but it feels wayyyy too soon for him. Hopefully he proves me wrong, but I have a feeling his reign might be a short one.

njpw tends to hold off for too long with guys and not strike while the iron is hot. i think this was the right move

 

Definitely the right move. Jay is a fantastic heel. He's beaten Tana/Omega/Okada. Sets up for Naito to be the one that actually is able to beat him. I'm very excited to see what direction they go now, with apparently the original MSG plan was Omega/Okada.

 

Omega has a clause in his contract to work NJPW. I wouldn't be surprised if he were in G1. Though that schedule might not be something AEW wants to have him running.

 

The Corey Graves stuff is fucking awful. Yikes.

 

I don't think AEW will be the hold up for Omega working NJPW, I think NJPW won't even offer it to him.

 

I'm all for Jay White as IWGP champ until they make the Lord Taichi the rightful champion

 

I doubt they won't. Gedo will want Okada and Tanahashi to get their wins back.
