haha no i know... i dont mean stupid factions for the sake of factions, im just saying you have room for something like that. But that's not the biggest motivation of why i'd want everyone on one brand. Mostly the woman's IC belt and woman's tag belt idea, and not having to force the issue with less talented people (goes for men too obviously).

Use both shows (5 hours) to highlight as much talent as possible and dont oversaturate yourself with repetition. You don't need to do a Strowman angle on both shows every week. Have some variety. Sometimes Strowman shows up on both shows, sometimes neither, sometimes just raw, sometimes just smackdown. Shuffle the pieces as you see fit. It also leaves tv viewers with not knowing what each show is going to feature.

 

I'd be disappointed, but the idea of The Revival in NJPW World Tag League or PWG's DDT4 if they ever hold that again is mouth watering.

ah bingo! Exactly. But you have more time, so more room. I also think that's what makes NxT work so well. You dont see everyone ALLL the time, which makes them special, and it also doesn't over-expose them too.

 

If they did that, you'd see a WAVE of people getting cut. The reason we havent seen releases since then is, if injuries hit, you might need Sin Cara, The Ascension, The Colons, and Mojo to fill out a Smackdown house show match (yes, I watched that). If they arent splitting the roster for house shows...

I dont think the brand split goes away. I think Fox gets their sportier style show, USA gets something that leads nicely into Chrisley, and the split keeps going

 

I don't know why they haven't done a Latin America branch already. Too much competition I guess?

 

I didn't mention it at the time but I really didn't like them hugging it out after just having a blood feud. I guess in hindsight it was foreshadowing the Charlotte turn, but still. Why can't you just have them be cautiously accepting of each other, and have Becky slowly start to come around after Charlotte proved herself against Ronda? I think what you're saying would be good, but I just want some slow, naturally developing storytelling. Not just hugging for no reason.

 

no becky in the opening segment is a major yikes. they're legitimately gonna have another daniel bryan situation on their hands.

sounds like, aside from the description "New Day win by pinfall with a turkey lariat from Big E on Cesaro", Smackdown was about as bad as RAW was last night

 

Daniel Bryan's promo was amazing. I'd go out of my way to watch it.

But holy hell am i absolutely PISSED at tonight's Smackdown. I was convinced that Smackdown losing 0-6 was going to result in some sort of major shake up from Shane's character and the entire roster. He was gonna come out pissed or something of that nature. But no....in fact, it doesn't get mentioned at all. So why the hell did Smackdown lose 0-6? Smackdown losing 0-6 made so much of tonight feel like shit honestly. What a god damn waste!

And yeah the shit with Charlotte is bad. She sounds phony and i think fans aren't going to buy it in the long run. Charlotte, you're Charlotte Flair, act like the "heel queen" you're supposed to be. That's your character. Stab people in the back when they least expecet it...dont worry about what the people think..etc etc.

Bad smackdown. First bad one in a while because there was no Becky and because survivor series made me realize that the entire roster outside of D-Bry and AJ, are absolute shit.

This Randy Orton stuff is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring and is going absolutely nowhere (orton's last 10 years in a nutshell)

 

Yeah from reading the descriptions... seems like they setup some interesting storylines with Charlotte attacking Rousey and Smackdown getting swept but then did jack all with it. Makes the PPVs feel a bit useless (just like the rest of the main roster)
