I don't think a lot of people understand how incredibly awful his politics are because he comes across so well-spoken and is a "grizzled vet". Plus he's a part timer now so that helps. I'm sure taker and other wrestlers have equally bad politics but try to be more discreet about it because they still gotta make a buck now and then.

woof. I just read more about the WWE/Sami situation from GRR. "Woof" doesn't cover half of it. I'm going back to my, holy shit, how much money did they give the WWE here because holy shit did they have to undercut a lot of their employees and their "values" (lmao that's a joke) to do this stupid event.

 

Last I heard, it was $50mil for the event + revenues from tickets/merch/etc. Which is way more than a normal WM.

So its that fucked up realm where it makes business sense (you can pay the women + non performers a WM paycheck and still clear a good profit), but, definitely undercuts any notion of progress.

Them doing another one in November would be interesting...

 

I think the next quarterlies come out in August and we will be able to see the number for what they were paid for the Saudi deal.
