that was babatunde's network debut. afaik he hasn't been on nxt yet. dan matha had a bunch of shitty vignettes then was squashed by samoa joe and disappeared until yesterday haha

 

I’m fairly certain Dan Matha isn’t actually a wrestler but is actually a trainer at the PC

 

The big NXT dudes were blatantly just there to be eliminated by Braun. No other reason for non TV NXT guys to be there.

 

I wonder how many wrestlers the Saudi audience actually knew

 

I remember video packages and a debut match a while back then he was never used again

 

Im genuinely fascinated that ROman didnt win. Nothing else surprised me from the card...but man, thats a really interesting ending

 

Sometimes wrestling fans work themselves into over thinking things. This was a house show nothing more

Except Brock isnt working Backlash (currently). And I cant imagine him dumping the title on RAW randomly, so they just made Brock Lesnar the longest reigning WWE champion in history, breaking CM Punk's record by MITB in June.

Which is an insanely dumb thing to do for a guy that is about to leave

 

I actually agree with domo here. Brock has worked multiple house shows this year alone and did plenty last year. A 9 minute match is not that much different from what he usually does. No title changes at all.

And most importantly: nothing of consequence happened. Nothing to be carried forward to Raw/SD. If that isn't the definition of a house show.. I dunno. But this is coming from someone who didn't watch the show. Seeing Taker was a rarity I suppose. The last time he worked a house show was 2015.

 

Hey I don't know what the plan is with lesnar but I'm just saying I don't think the idea was he wins at mania...and then loses it in Saudi Arabia at a glorified house show.

That Triple H/Cena match was on some MAJOR House show shit. Also people have been saying they were at house shows the previous week and some wrestlers worked the same exact match at the house show as in Saudi.

Glad Stroman won. Is this going to be a yearly event where that belt is defended? That would be interesting.
