i miss having a thriving indy in upstate ny. there was a fed that ran literally on my block, as in i could open my front room window and hit the venue with a rock. now that i'm back, i would love them to book a show or two.

 

MI used to have a decent indy scene, XICW was decent with getting talent in and some of the every show guys like Jake Something, Joe Coleman, Hakim Zane, and Idris Abraham were great, but lately it's been pure garbage. The booker still wrestles and him and his son are always booked to win and it's so frustrating

 

I mean, they tried Holy Foley at least, and that was fucking atrocious.

 

i just found out mine is still thriving... just well enough to leave troy, ny. they're touring nationally which is kinda nuts, got shows in SC and NH coming up

 

Fun fact, the Jim Cornette/Santino incident happened at the promotion I’m talking about

 

i have not heard of this

 

That show was headlined by a cage match between The Decay against the booker and his kid for the tag titles

I was able to get presale for the Barclays center. May try to get Manhattan Center tickets because I'd rather go to that honestly.

 

Theres a decent one about a 5min walk from my apartment. They run basically a monthly show, which is nice. And they just got added to powerbomb.tv, so I imagine their December show (first streaming) will have some bigger names

The reason WWE passed on Io Shirai was not due to her back but due to an issue they found with her heart. The fact is, she has been cleared by doctors in Japan from both her neck and heart but WWE’s doctors suggested passing on her.

 

Damn, I hope the doctors in Japan know what they're doing with clearing her, heart issues are scary as fuck

no, and i hate myself for it, but they were always JUST far enough away. they did one albany show i saw marketing for that had steen and delaney, really wish i'd have gone

The rules of the match are as follows:

• The three-member teams of SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain), Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly), and The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) & Roderick Strong will wage war inside a massive steel cage that surrounds TWO rings.
• All three teams will be contained inside separate shark cages by the entranceway, with a member from each team (as chosen by his respective squad) starting the match.
• After five minutes, the remaining members from one team will be released from their shark cage and allowed to enter the match.
• When another three-minute period elapses, the remaining members from a second team are released from their shark cage and enter the match.
• Following another three-minute period, the final team’s members are released from their shark cage and enter the match.
• Once all three teams have entered the WarGames Match, a victory can be attained via pinfall or submission.
