  1. that won't be Rousey's fault though - I'm just glad she looked the part last night her move set looked good her in-ring talking was great and she just looked like a natural

Braunolas will have an open challenge tonight, sami and ko will show up and win the raw tag belts. Would be cool.

Rousey against someone competent in the ring actually will be okay, can’t wait to see where she goes from here

After watching everything from this weekend, Takeover was by far the best show. All matches were very good, but the first and last were my two favorite matches of the weekend followed by Kenny/Cody.

ROH was good, but the show was way too long and they honestly should have cut the Women's match, Chuckie T/Gresham and the awful Bully Ray segment from the show. That plus getting rid of the intermission would have made the show 3-3.5 hours, which would have been much better. Loved Punishment Vs. Ishii, Kota Vs. Page, the ladder match and of course both main events. Cody Vs. Kenny should have went last as the crowd was hotter for that match and the crowd was burnt out for the last match though they got into it at parts.

Wrestlemania was not the best, but I've seen worst. Suffered from being too long and the best matches being at the start of the show (Triple threat for IC, Charlotte/Asuka and The Rousey Match). Rousey match was my motn, which I didn't expect. Hated Naomi randomly winning the Women's Battle Royal, the Jinder Win, an 8 year old killing the tag belts, and the god awful main event.

  5. Rousey talking shit to HHH while she had in the arm bar was so fucking cool too

I legit wonder if waiting backstage for so long might actually be affecting the wrestlers too.

  7. honestly I am really excited for the Matt Hardy/Bray Wyatt alliance - at the very least having Bray as a face will be a nice change for his character

And absolutely. I'm not here to say the match was great. But maybe it's because my expectations weren't as high as others either. Thought the match was average...but the fact that it's these two wrestlers for the wwe title on this stage..as 2 babyfaces... The fact that the match was average didn't ruin that for me.

But you guys do realize that is in fact how Vince operates. Hed rather see a crowd like reigns/lesnar than aj/nak any day of the week.

  9. Stephanie's blood curdling scream of "NOOOO NOOOOO NOOOOO" will probably haunt @bones and @M.Lee for a minute too hahaha

Man, how fucking good was Gargano/Ciampa and the ladder match from NXT? Between matches during Mania, when I wasn't thinking of awful it was for Charlotte to go over, I kept thinking about those two matches. Haven't wanted to re-watch a couple matches this much in a long, long time.

Daniel, I don't need vindication for being right (again) about something wrestling related (I'm brilliant), I would just like a good product consistently (they should use my ideas).

Just got to the power bomb on to the exposed concrete spot from Ciampa/Gargano. The smack when Ciampa hit literally echoed throughout the entire arena. One of those weird spots where it somehow seemed slightly less brutal on TV than it did in person.

  14. Styles/Nak wasn't a bad match per se but it was forgettable which is probably even worse

    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

I know, I know, I know. It just pains me to think about this: since the beginning of the women's Revolution (thanks Steph), how many girls have really been established?

Bayley had her legs cut off. Emma left the company. Becky gets no TV time. Alexa held the belt forever, which is a plus, but literally never defended it. It was an Ambrose US Title reign. Asuka had all of her build-up done during her NXT run, and got neutered last night. Nia kind of is what she is, often treated like a female midcarder until last night. Sasha has been "there" in the sense that she is used as a foil for Charlotte and always loses. Mella won MITB but doesn't even look like she will cash it in lol.

Ronda is legitimately going to be #2 and that's so sad

The aj/Nakamura match was fine but nothing special. Yes the crowd was tired, I was at least but at the same time they didn’t do themselves any favors either. And my half of the arena did not care at all for Brock/Reigns. In fact I didn’t even see that match because of the beach balls.

Depends on how you look at it. I think the Nak heel turn and the fact that AJ left wrestlemania as the WWE champ seems like something wrestling fans will look back at fondly (which is i think...where i am coming from with this. Big picture this was a big deal no matter how good or bad the technical wrestling aspect of it was)

  20. yeah I do get that it's frustrating - but maybe Asuka losing is a chance to refine her character a little bit more now and Asuka-Charlotte II will be awesome of course

what I'm really excited about in the future is Rousey vs Baszler

I'll be honest, three years from now I'll forget that they even wrestled yesterday. I thought the match was that boring. Not to try to pile on ya like an asshole or constantly disagree with you.

by the way now that im done talking about aj/nak. This might sound a little, a litte probably not true. But Nia yells at Alexa "I loved you". At first i rolled my eyes because it just reminded me of how shitty of a job they did fleshing out any good storyline out of the two of them for 11 months. Like come on, the writers didn't do anything to establish their friendship as being an actual 'thing'.

BUT... you think there's anyyyyyyyyyyyyy chance that's setting up a storyline going forward. Nia was actually 'in love' with Alexa, and thats why the comments hurt her more

or am i totally grasping for straws here and its just the ending to a really poorly told story?
