Only thing I can imagine Brock being mad at is how Vince wanted the match to be laid out. And the reception to the match. I can't imagine either of them were happy about it.

 

So can we talk about how AJ/Shane was a better match then AJ/Nak yet or no?

 

Shane wrestled more than Bryan did, he was the MVP for that match too

 

Damn, Baszler using her own hair to lock in that choke is pretty fucking cool. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

I feel like AJ and Nak's next match will be so much better

 

Definitely a good argument. AJ/Shane opened the main show last year didn't they?

 

AJ and Nak was not great because it had a NJPW build up to the Styles Clash. If this had been a NJPW match, there would have been another fifteen minutes. The match didn't have enough time to flesh out and really suffered for it.

 

I'm sorry, but there's so much excuse making for the AJ/Nak match. Yes, it was late in the card. Yes, the crowd was tired. But lets stop pretending that is why they were dead. Crowd was super hot for the intros, and then we got a slow match with no real flow. Crowd was going nuts for a 10 year old kid following that match, and had enough energy to go crazy for beach balls after that. Aside from the last minute, the match was paced terribly. The finish was cool, the turn afterwards was great, but everything after the intros until that point was mediocre.

 

I literally fell asleep during the AJ/Nak match

 

Me too but it was like 4am for me at that point

 

There are a lot of things about the match that stunk. There is a good chance that Nak is 100% in full 'phone it in' mode at this point, like people suspected that he would.

basically this. Like, I think Nak has one more chance to "bring it" before he's officially a bust in WWE.

I'm really hoping the excuse of, "he's a heel so he can do whatever he wants" ends up being accurate
