I just didn't really like anything about it it stems all the way back to last year even when reigns best taker in the man event in what I assumed was takers retirement match. It wasn't. So why was it last ? Add the fact that elias got jobber out... taker didn't look great, he was asked to do 5 moves, and was able to do it (with one move being botchmania level actually) . To a match with no build.

And I don't want a rematch. I wanted taker to retire after lesnar or at least after bray to get his win back. This moment is 3 years too late in my opinion

Most likely but that still adds to the fact that I thought the whole thing was a fail in my opinion.

Now things can be saved if they have a good follow through tonight but if that was just to force a taker match and that's it (which I think it was)... man.

 

Hot take 1: The streak snapping and jinder winning were both probably designed to boost the Ronda match and that's dumb

Hot take 2: Taker vs Cena was a waste of time and dragged down the show. For a 3 minute match, I think you save 30+ minutes wtihout it. Good way to deal with show being too long.

Hot take 3: Build for the Sami/KO/Bryan match was probably what hurt it the most. Couldn't really enjoy it because I was still on team #ShaneIsAButt and don't want to see Sami/KO leave smackdown

 

There is a 0% chance joe is gonna be champ tonight. That would be a useful direction

Roman could win the belt at the Saudi Arabia show and he will not get booed there.

Decent odds too that Brock could get out of his contract early by going to Saudi Arabia. Make that his last match and he could fight in UFC by late fall

 

I was thinking Summerslam is his last match. Can he enter the USADA testing pool while still under contract with WWE? @slowheart maybe you know?

 

They should just have Roman go over in whatever city in India (I think) that has the hotel named Roman Reigns Hotel. Surely he won’t be booed there

Yeah. He can. The USADA website is public and updates once a week, I would imagine sometime this week his name reappears in the list. He has looked progressively more 'deflated' as of late.

He has to serve another 6 months of his suspension still, which will start again once he enters the pool.

I'm pretty confident he'll stick around until Summerslam. His contract didn't expire at midnight last night, he just fulfilled his current amount of dates. His deal runs until SS, and since he retained, Vince obviously got him to sign for more dates.

Brock currently has 372 days as champ, Punk had 434. It's probably safe to say Vince wants him to pass that number.

He didn't sign for more dates and they'll just vacate the title and hold a tournament for it or do a multi man match for the belt tonight. It's also a possibility that he drops the belt to Roman at the Saudi show, Roman is MASSIVELY popular over there and he would not get booed.

Would Brock even actually go to Saudi Arabia? They said every title will be defended aside from the women's obviously.

 

I personally feel like something will happen with the title tonight. Mainly because I want that though.

Brock traveling to Saudi seems like a stretch to me.
