It sucks that the women’s battle royal is on the pre show - no love for Sasha Bayley Naomi or Becky

 

They better tug of war the belt again

 

On the main card it'd get rushed through in 7 minutes. Better to get 15 minutes, a nice showdown between Becky/Sasha/Bayley/etc in some form at the end for the final 2.

Idk guys. I might regret saying this in a few weeks or months but I’m so ready for reigns to take the title and make it relevant. I want to see it on every damn show, and for it to be defended on every PPV god dammit this whole buildup spoke to me and worked for me.

 

Can't argue with the fact that it worked. I think it's nonsense but hey it worked for lots of people

I agree, it’s too much. There’s a lot of matches that shouldn’t be on the card.

Tonight’s Raw would barely qualify as decent under normal circumstances.

 

I promise I don't mean this as an insult to anyone that has a different opinion than me, but man I think this take is delusional. This whole fake-Austin thing they've tried to do with Roman in this build is borderline insulting to people who were actually around back then. It's also been almost 4 years of this insufferable Reigns booking. The last thing I'm asking for is more of it.

Anyway I skimmed most of Raw. Heyman's comment about Ronda and Kurt was VERY interesting. I'm also a little disappointed in Taker not showing up at all. If he appears on SD tomorrow (which I kind of expect), then it's a different story. But as of now it's certainly a strange way to handle the whole build and I'm not sure the best way. Maybe if we get Cena in the front row for most of the show I'll feel a little different.

 

Unfortunately, this is 100% accurate. It's total pandering and badly done at that, but it's at least somewhat over. It definitely hasn't flopped.

 

Raw sounds mostly boring. Weird that what's shaping up to be a great mania card has such a lethargic build.

 

Works for me too. It's wrestling 101 and despite it being everyone's favourite punching bag in Reigns, it's been done well. Sure, there's a little comparison with Austin, but is that a bad thing? Wrestling storylines are cyclical and the simple ones are normally the best.

Guy who cares about the belt verse guy who doesn't is fine by me.
