i wish there was SOMETHING on the line though to tie it all in. Like the GM's promise the survivors a title shot or a #1 contenders match or something like that.

Yep, and 6hrs with pre-show. Last years show with 3 SS matches in it (one that went an hour) still had 8 matches in total, and that was with the Brock squash.

Theres at least 2, probably 3 matches getting added to the card.

 

if i had to GUESS. Alicia, Sasha, Bayley, Asuka, Emma (since nia ia m.i.a) vs. Naomi, Becky, Natalya (will drop belt to charlotte before ppv), Carmella, Tamina

and Roman, Finn, Joe, Sheamus, Cesaro vs. AJ, Nak, New Day (2 of them), Orton

no clue what Owens or Zayn do.

this RAW really went fast for me tonight, only thing I was really bothered by was feeding Finn to Kane in 2017. I hate to be that guy but idk who makes these decisions but the whole "Vince is out of touch/moron" crowd always blames that on him, and tbh... I mean... he should know better.

BUT OUTSIDE THAT, i really loved the Smackdown takeover.

Unrelated to either point but: I like Kalisto, really do - but when is he either gunna take some promo classes or WWE gunna realize don't let him speak but very sparingly?

 

I really do not enjoy Kane being back, even though I find this surprising of myself. The mask is ugly, the suit is goofy and me knowing he is running for conservative libertarian politician does not help either. Also doesn't help my inner kayfabe-child.

 

Idk how I feel about having to pay about the same price as a WWE ticket for ROH Final Battle

Brand warfare STINKS

 

Catching up on RAW last night because apparently I can't stay up past 10 anymore and wake up really early.

Anyone else just hoping the entire time RAW was under siege that Braun was gonna roll up in the garbage truck a la Stone Cold in his pick up truck and just murder the entire SD roster one by one as he gets closer and closer to the ring?

 

And nothing from last night tops last year when Chris Jericho and the list first discovered one James Ellsworth

 

I'm in the minority, but I definitely don't think this is as awful as everyone is making it seem

Like, as far as thrown together brand warfare Survivor Series matches are, this one is at least interesting and entertaining so far.

I didn't didn't love it either, mostly just put off by some of these guys running backstage heel as fuck all of a sudden. I did laugh at Gable instantly going after Jordan though. Curious to see how it plays out/continues tonight, especially with Sami/KO.

 

Wasn't it last year's SS when Dean Ambrose randomly turned on his SDL teammates so they could do a mini-Shield reunion? Or do we not talk about that because of the actual Shield reunion happening now? I'll have to ask Michael Cole for verification on that one.

I am somewhere in the middle on that ending. It was placed horribly. Putting that in the overrun after a big cruiser tag was a weird decision, I was all but tuned out by that point. The obvious issue is we just saw Tye, Xavier, Mojo, etc with big grins going full hate-crime on some innocent people. Now I know this is pro wrestling and the Tuesday after Survivor Series Xavier will come out and dance and we will all like him again, but it would be nice if Shane had put something on the table to motivate Smackdown into it, or reveal that Angle went over Shane and Bryan's heads to Triple H to sign the AJ/Finn match, or just anything.

But this is pro wrestling and the reason things happen is because pro wrestling. Last year's Raw v. Smackdown match was awesome which is really all I want out of this.
